Rohan Kelley is a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In his early teen years he discovered photography when he acquired a Contax IIa 35mm (film) camera, about which Wikipedia says “This line was an engineering and manufacturing tour de force, and is considered by many to be the finest camera ever made.” He developed and printed his own photographs back in the film days before digital. When it came time for college and law school, other matters intervened, kids began coming (5) and photography was put aside. It languished in suspended animation for a half century until it was rediscovered and dusted off several years ago. The restart was a slow process while he worked through 50 years of law practice as a trust and estates lawyer, litigator, author and lecturer, rising to the top of his profession and recognized for more than 30 years by Best Lawyers in America, Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame, SuperLawyers magazine and others. He still works full time at his day job but now also avidly pursues nature photograph as his avocation.
